The notification states that Navik (GD) recruitment is open to male and female candidates, while Yantrik, Navik (DB) and Hygienist-I vacancies mentioned above are for male candidates.
Educational Qualification
- Navik (GD): 12th Pass with Mathematics and Physics.
- Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th Pass.
- Hygienist-I: Matriculation/10th Pass or ITI/equivalent.
- Yantrik: 10th Pass + AICTE-approved Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering as prescribed in the notification.

Salary Details
- Navik GD: ₹21,700 + allowances, Pay Level-3
- Navik DB: ₹21,700 + allowances, Pay Level-3
- Hygienist-I: ₹21,700 + allowances, Pay Level-3
- Yantrik: ₹29,200 + ₹6,200 Yantrik Pay + allowances, Pay Level-5
Other benefits include free ration and clothing, medical facilities, accommodation/HRA, leave, pension benefits, CSD facilities and insurance cover as per rules.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹550. SC/ST candidates applying against SC/ST vacancies are exempted from the examination fee. Payment can be made online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or UPI.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Stage-I: Computer Based Online Examination
- Stage-II: Physical Fitness Test, Assessment & Adaptability Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination
- Stage-III: INS Chilka reporting, document verification and pre-enrolment medical
- Stage-IV: Final verification/authentication of original documents
Stage-I consists of 100 objective questions for 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour and no negative marking.

- Complete the registration using your valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in the CGEPT application form carefully.
- Upload the required photograph, signature, identity proof and educational documents.
- Select the preferred examination city.
- Pay the applicable examination fee.
- Submit the application and keep a printout for future reference.
Applications will be accepted online only from 06 October 2026 at 11:00 AM to 21 October 2026 at 5:30 PM.
